L'immagine in carne, ossa e tradizione scritta e orale della donna forte.Questo saggio sul suo mito è magnifico. Ripercorre la storia letteraria, antropologica e artistica del mito di Medea, dalle attestazioni pre Euripide, al film di Lars von Trier, al quadro in cui appare come una donna borghese.
Una lettura interessante, mai noiosa, mai eccessiva, chiara, completa.
Ogni aspetto, ogni faccia di questo personaggio viene analizzata e spiegata, sotto ogni punto di vista.
Un libro più completo riguardo questo tema è difficile trovarlo.
Devo aggiungere un piccolo aneddoto personale. Stavo preparando una lista di libri consigliati per l'acquisto nella biblioteca in cui lavoro. Questo titolo mi capitò per caso, fu amore a prima vista, e dopo averne letto la scheda sul sito della casa editrice, ero sicura di aver fatto la scelta giusta.
Ora, a libro concluso e chiuso, posso dire che avevo ragione.
Libro straordinario, interessantissimo.
Uno di quei libri che rendono la vita difficile alla lettura che viene dopo.

An interesting reading, never boring, never excessive, clear, complete.
Every aspect, every face of this character is analyzed and explained, from every point of view.
A more complete book on this subject is hard to find.
I have to add a little personal anecdote. I was preparing a list of books recommended for purchase in the library where I work. This title happened to me by chance, it was love at first sight, and after reading the card on the website of the publishing house, I was sure I had made the right choice.
Now, with the book finished and closed, I can say that I was right.
Extraordinary book, very interesting.
