Quasi vent'anni dopo, noto che la passione e l'amore che le adolescenti riversano sulle boy band non é cambiato di molto. Certo, adesso c'é Internet e le possibilità di avere informazioni e foto si sono moltiplicate. Inoltre con i vari social network c'é anche la possibilità di mandargli messaggi diretti e, per le più fortunate, magari riceverne anche una risposta.
I cinque ragazzi più famosi del momento sono gli One Direction. Inglesi e un irlandese,sono diventati famosi grazie a X Factor UK e da lì sono partiti per la scalata al successo. Son carini, ben vestiti e con l'immagine da bravi ragazzi. Canzoni carine e orecchiabili.
Il libro... Beh, so già che mi attirerò l'ira delle Directioners ma é noiosetto. La prima parte é dedicata singolarmente a ogni componente del gruppo e c'é da dire che i ragazzi non peccano certo di originalità. Quanto é bello essere tutti insieme, quanto ci divertiamo, non ci siamo montati la testa, essere in tour é la cosa più bella, i nostri Fans sono fantastici. Con parole diverse ma alla fine il succo é quello. Che alla fine bastava anche che facessero un discorso unico e si risparmiavano pagine. Niente di nuovo,niente di interessante. La seconda parte é costituita da domande secche, anche qui niente per cui non dormirò la notte.
Insomma, finché dura fanno quello che possono. Finché dura. Né più né meno come tutti gli altri che li hanno preceduti e che li seguiranno.

I remember when I was a super fan of a boyband. In my teenage, there are only the Take That and, with them, the posters put up in my bedroom.Hours listening their cds and allowances spent in newspaper with them pictured in the cover. No concerts for me, they never went in my city and my mother would never accept to come with me.
Twenty years later, something isn't changed: teenage love for the boybands. Sure, they have Internet and they can obtain more informations and pictures. Through the Social networks, they can send messages straight to them and, for the luckiest ones, have an answer.
The five most famous boys right now are called One Direction. English and Irish, they are famous thanks to X Factor UK, from there the rise to success. They are good-looking, well-dressed and looks like good boys. Catchy songs.
The book... well, I know the Directioners will hate me but it's pretty boring. The first is about each one of them, individually. The guys aren't over original. How much is beautiful stay all together, how much fun, we didn't become full or ourselves, being in tour is the most fantastic thing, our fans are great. Different words but at the end this is the heart of the matter. Why not they did One Speech and save pages? Nothing new, nothing interesting. The second part is made by direct questions. Still I can sleep at night pretty quietly.
Well, as long as it lasts, they do what they should. As long as it lasts. Exactly like every band came before them and will come after them.
