Il concetto che regna é la morale che tutti hanno ma che non si può dire in pubblico. Quei pensieri che se espressi sarebbero la causa di una chiamata nell'ufficio del preside.
I quattro adulti di questo romanzo esprimono in pieno questo concetto. I loro figli adolescenti hanno fatto una cosa orribile, inaudita. E loro si relazionano seguendo la propria morale.
Come in una vera cena, il dessert arriva solo alla fine. Sono le ultime pagine quelle più piene di interesse. Ma solo leggendo le pagine precedenti, e mangiando una cena intera, si arriva pronti alla fine. Che ovviamente non vi anticiperò.
Sono indecisa se consigliarvi questo libro oppure no. É un romanzo forte.
Mi dissocio dalla decisione che prenderete dopo aver letto questa recensione. Anche questa é una di quelle cose che i book blogger pensano. Ma non dicono. Che per una volta si può evitare di consigliare un libro, e anche di non consigliarlo.

I just finished this novel. I'm here spinning around the book in my hands thinking about what I'm going to write in this review. Because this story gave me the same feelings "Perfume" gave me. A mix of fascination and refuse.
The main concept is the hidden moral everyone has but nobody can talk about in public. Those thoughts you can't express unless you want to be called in the headmaster's office.
The four main characters fully express this concept. Their teenager sons did an horrible and shocking thing. And they relate themselves with it through their own moral.
Like a real dinner, dessert is the final course of a meal. The last pages are the most interesting. But only reading the previous pages, and eating a complete dinner, we arrive ready at the end. And of course I'm not going to spoiler it.
I'm so uncertain if I have to suggest this novel or not. It's a strong novel.
You know what? I contract myself out of your choice after this review. This is one thing bookbloggers think. But don't tell. For once we can avoid suggesting a book, and even avoid not suggesting it.
