Ecco, mai credere alle recensioni entusiastiche. Perchè, per quanto mi riguarda, questo libro è una str***ata colossale.
Chris e Sylvere, marito e moglie in crisi, incontrano Dick, critico culturale e collega di Sylvere.
Da qui parte una serie di seghe mentali, fantasie erotiche e una serie di lettere, indirizzate soprattutto da Chris, a Dick in cui si costruisce un suo mondo in cui lei e Dick sono legati da qualcosa che c'è solo nella sua testa. L'oggetto di questa mania ne è prima incuriosito, poi infastidito, e il finale è sicuramente la parte che mi ha dato maggiori soddisfazioni.
Ho voluto finire la lettura un po' per masochismo, e un po' per sapere come sarebbe andata a finire.
Mi chiedo veramente come sia possibile considerarlo un libro importante per le donne. Dopo che per tanto tempo abbiamo denunciato il lavaggio del cervello che fanno le favole e la figura del Principe Azzurro, mi sembra che questo invece sia peggio. Siamo ai limiti dello stalker.
E per fortuna che almeno non ci ho speso soldi...

There has been much talk about this book, and my curiosity has been tickled. I went to a library not so close to me to borrow it and read it.
Here, never believe in rave reviews. Because, as far as I'm concerned, this book is a colossal bullshit.
Chris and Sylvere, husband and wife in crisis, meet Dick, cultural critic and colleague of Sylvere.
From here starts a series of mental overthinkings, erotic fantasies and a series of letters, mainly addressed by Chris, to Dick where he builds her own world in which she and Dick are bound by something that is only in her head. The object of this mania is first intrigued, then annoyed, and the end is definitely the part that gave me more satisfaction.
I wanted to finish the reading a bit for masochism, and a little to know how it would end.
I really wonder how it is possible to consider it as an important book for women. After a long time we have reported the brainwashing of fairy tales and the figure of Prince Charming, it seems to me that this is worse. We are at the limits of stalking.
And luckily at least I did not spend any money...
