Difficile anche fare una sintesi, in quanto il libro è talmente pieno di personaggi incredibili, di azione, di avvenimenti, di storie, che non saprei davvero da che parte iniziare.
Vediamo se riesco a delineare almeno qualche linea guida.
Il Maestro è uno scrittore che sta lavorando su un manoscritto sulla storia di Ponzio Pilato e della morte di Gesù. Viene perseguitato dall'autorità sovietica, accusato di scrivere un'apologia di Gesù Cristo, e si ritrova in un ospedale psichiatrico. Margherita è la donna che ama e da cui è riamato, sposata con un uomo che ama, e che mai ha dimenticato il suo amore e il suo libro.
Il protagonista che muove tutto e da cui parte tutto è Woland, apparso a Mosca con il suo servo Azazello e il suo gruppo di servitori, tra cui il gatto Behemoth e la strega Hella.
In realtà, Woland è Satana, grazie al quale il Maestro e Margherita si riincontrano e si salvano. Un Satana visto non come l'incarnazione del male puro, ma come un essere gaudente e beffardo, estremamente intelligente e disincantato. Avete presente la canzone "Sympathy for the Devil" dei Rolling Stones? Ecco a voi Woland...
E' satira politica e sociale, e allegoria religiosa.
E' un mondo esilarante, metafisico, incredibile.
Bulgakov ha creato un vero capolavoro. Da giramenti di testa assicurati.

It is also difficult to make a summary, as the book is so full of incredible characters, action, stories, that I really do not know where to start.
Let's see if I can outline at least some guideline.
