Questo libro risponde a una necessità che, in questo momento in Italia, si fa sempre più irrimandabile: un manuale semplice, divertente, assolutamente non spaventoso (ha pure la copertina rosa, dai!!), completo e intelligente per spiegare il femminismo. Siccome in giro ci sono ancora persone che credono che le femministe siano delle pazze isteriche che non si depilano, che non fanno sesso e che non sanno ridere alle battute, gente che vorrebbe l'uomo schiavizzato e spogliato di ogni diritto, questo libro è la risposta giusta.
Giulia Blasi tratta di una serie di temi al centro delle discussioni femministe, tra i tanti, le molestie, la differenza di stipendio delle donne, la libertà sessuale, il #MeToo... e lo fa spiegandoli in maniera chiara, semplice e precisa, fornendo tante spiegazioni ed esempi, sia nel mondo italiano sia all'estero. Inoltre, nella seconda parte del libro, spiega tutti i modi in cui una persona può attivamente fare parte del movimento e rendere, anche nel proprio piccolo singolare, il mondo un po' più inclusivo e rispettoso, un mondo dove è più bello vivere per tutti.
Come dice giustamente nel titolo, è un manuale, quindi una base teorica, direi adatto per una fascia di età giovane, da cui poi partire con altre letture e con un atteggiamento più consapevole.
Giulia Blasi è poi molto presente nei social, che siano Twitter o Instagram, da cui ha fatto partire le campagne di cui parla nel libro. Per chi già non lo fa, seguirla è un piccolo passo in più nell'azione.

This book responds to a need that, at this moment in Italy, is becoming more and more urgent: a simple, fun, absolutely not scary textbook (it also has a pink cover, come on!), complete and intelligent to explain feminism. Since there are still people who believe that feminists are crazy hysterics who don't shave, who don't have sex and who don't know how to laugh at jokes, people who would like men enslaved and stripped of all rights, this book is the right answer.
Giulia Blasi deals with a series of themes at the center of feminist discussions, among others, harassment, the difference in women's salaries, sexual freedom, #MeToo... and she does it by explaining them in a clear, simple and precise way, providing many explanations and examples, both in Italy and abroad. Furthermore, in the second part of the book, she explains all the ways in which a person can actively be part of the movement and make, even in one's own singular little way, the world a little more inclusive and respectful, a world where it is more beautiful to live for everyone.
As she rightly says in the title, it is a textbook, therefore a theoretical basis, I would say suitable for a young age group, from which then to start with other readings and with a more conscious attitude.
