Da Monica Vitti a Jennifer Aniston (che da Moglie Cornuta è passata intanto a essere una paladina di tutte quelle che dovrebbero non vedere l'ora di essere incinte e invece preferiscono un hamburger), passando per Scandal e Mad Man, la vicenda del padre dottore innamorato dell'infermiera e della moglie modello Jackie Kennedy è il nostro paradigma dell'adulterio. Perchè la moglie non lo lascia perchè avere un marito traditore e sempre meglio che non averne nessuno, l'amante che lo sceglie proprio in quanto sposato e quindi più facile da gestire, lui che crede di essere talmente irresistibile da avere due donne pronte a tutto per lui.
Adesso o negli anni Cinquanta, poco è cambiato. Sicuramente i mezzi di comunicazione. Sms, Whatsapp hanno cambiato radicalmente i rapporti. Più facile fare e disfare, e ovviamente, essere scoperti.
L'autrice fa un quadro molto schietto delle relazioni umane, nessuna concessione a falso romanticismo. Ironica e intelligente, adoro il suo modo di scrivere, di raccontare singole citazioni di serie tv e film. Tra l'altro, facendomi venire voglia di correre in biblioteca a prendere i dvd di tutti i film di Gassman e Scola.

The author trace a very frank picture of human relationships, leaving no place for fake sentimentalism. Ironic and smart, I love her writing, her explanations of single quotes from tv shows and movies. Apropos, now I go to the library to borrow all those movies by Gassman and Scola.
