Il libro è bello, scorrevole, Mutis scrive magnificamente. Altra protagonista, una Panama calda, affascinante, lussuriosa.
I personaggi delle due donne, Ilona e Larissa, sono perfetti. Sensuali, scaltre, intelligenti. Meno mi è piaciuto, ammetto, Maqroll, colui che dovrebbe essere il vero protagonista. Per me, più un co-protagonista, uno che guarda mentre le altre agiscono. Socio in affari di Ilona, ma è lei che realmente decide. Mentre Larissa è surreale e magica, viene da un altro mondo.
Due personaggi che non lasciano via d'uscita, in tutti i sensi.
Insomma, libro bellissimo, in tono con l'estate calda in Sardegna. Ma non mi ha conquistata completamente.
La porta è aperta signor Mutis, e questo è solo il primo libro che leggo. Mi catturi.

I've read this book for two reasons: Mutis is one of my brother's favourite writer, and I trust his judgment; then because Mutis has been a great friend of Marquez and I supposed to find in the book what Marquez makes me feel, and it was a yes and a no.
The book is beautiful, flowing, he writes magnificently. Another main character, a hot, charming, luxurious Panama.
The two female characters, Ilona and Larissa, are perfect. Sensual, smart, sharp. I liked less, I must admit, Maqroll, that would be the real main character. For me, he is more one who look at the others while they act. Business partner of Ilona, but the real boss is her. While Larissa is magical and surreal, she comes from another world.
Two no go characters, in every meaning.
So, a beautiful book, perfect with the hot summer in Sardinia. But it didn't completely make me over.
