Una favola, due protagonisti, Jack, bambino con un orologio per cuore, e Miss Acacia, cantante andalusa con una certa reticenza a indossare occhiali.
Questo romanzo un po' steampunk e un po' Tim Burton, invece, mi ha conquistata... alla fine. Un finale, che ovviamente non vi dirò, originale. Diverso. Bello.
Una scrittura delicata che invece avvolge il lettore molto prima. Le mie remore già a metà erano abbandonate.
Insomma, da leggere.
E anche se non lo iniziate il giorno di San Valentino, va bene uguale.

This book, as a lot of those who passed in this blog, has been for a long time in my list of To Read. It has a beautiful cover, and the story didn't look bad. I must admit, I am a bit unwilling to too banal love stories.
A fairy tale, two main characters: Jack, the boy with the cuckoo-clock heart, and Miss Acacia, spanish street performer with a reticence to wear glasses.
This novel a bit steampunk and a bit Tim Burton, instead, conquered me... at the end. A finale, that I'm obviously not going to tell, original. Unique. Beautiful.
A delicate writing that wraps the reader a lot of pages before. My concerns were gone already at half book.
So, it's a ToRead.
And even if you don't start it for Valentine's Day as me, it's ok.
