In questo volume troverete un'accurata selezione di racconti e di documenti (reali o presunti) che riguardano le apparizioni dei Vampiri. Per quanto riguarda l'indicazione geografica, la narrazione spazia fino ad arrivare all'Islanda, al Giappone e alla Russia.
Tutti i racconti sono assolutamente di eccellente qualità, come questa casa editrice ci ha ormai abituato. I miei preferiti sono probabilmente Schalken il pittore, Il Sommaco e il vampiro islandese in Grettir a Thorhall-stead.
Mentre i documenti (sempre reali o presunti) tendono a lungo andare a essere un po' ripetitivi, anche se sempre utili nel ricordare le regole base per uccidere un vampiro, mai più senza un palo di frassino in borsetta!
Non troverete il Dracula di Bram Stoker ma un'ampia selezione di ottimi racconti con cui passare delle serate mai noiose!
Sempre complimenti dovuti, infine, alla cura nella grafica di questa casa editore. Tante bellissime illustrazioni, una cura del dettaglio minuziosa, effetto della carta perfetto per questo genere di racconto.
Insomma, se vi interessa il genere, questo è uno di quei libri da non lasciarsi scappare!

For some months now I am a passionate buyer of the books of this publishing house. Their specialization are books dedicated to the world of the mysterious, of darkness, of the fantastic. And wha could be more mysterious and dark and fantastic than the figure of the vampire?
In this volume you will find a careful selection of stories and documents (real or presumed) about the apparitions of Vampires. As for the geographical indication, the narrative ranges up to Iceland, Japan and Russia.
All the stories are absolutely of excellent quality, as we are used at with this publishing house. My favorites are probably Schalken the painter, The Sumac and the Icelandic vampire in Grettir at Thorhall-stead.
While the documents (always real or presumed) tend to be a bit repetitive, although always useful in remembering the basic rules for killing a vampire, never again without an ash pole in your handbag!
You will not find Bram Stoker's Dracula but a wide selection of excellent stories with which to spend never boring evenings!
Always compliments due, finally, to the care in the graphics of this publisher. Many beautiful illustrations, meticulous attention to details, the perfect effect in the paper for this kind of story.
In short, if you are interested in the genre, this is one of those books not to be missed!
