Dopo aver letteralmente divorato la serie di The Crown, sono rimasta orfana del mondo della royal family. Avevo bisogno di continuare almeno per un po' a vivere in quell'ombra di sangue blu. A chi rivolgersi se non ad Antonio Caprarica?
Devo ammettere che speravo ci fosse più spazio per i Windsor contemporanei e meno per le storie di nonni, bisnonni e via andare. Molto spazio viene dato infatti ai reali del passato, pochissimo su William e Kate. Altra pecca che ho notato, non va in ordine cronologico ma salta tra presente e passato, rendendo a volte complicato seguire il filo del discorso...
Comunque, lettura bella e leggera se siete interessati alla famiglia reale, del resto ci sono talmente tanti libri su di loro che questo non deve per forza colmare ogni lacuna.
Caprarica avrà sempre e comunque il mio apprezzamento, chi più di lui tra i giornalisti italiani conosce la Royal Family?

After literally devouring the series The Crown, I was left without the world of the royal family. I needed to keep living in that shade of blue blood for a while. Who's better than Antonio Caprarica?
I have to admit that I was hoping there was more room for contemporary Windsors and less for the stories of grandparents, great-grandparents and so on. In fact, much space is given to the royals of the past, very little on William and Kate. Another flaw that I noticed, it does not go in chronological order but jumps between present and past, sometimes making it difficult to follow the thread of the discussion...
Anyway, it's a nice and light read if you are interested in the royal family, after all there are so many books about them that this doesn't have to fill every gap.
Caprarica will always have my appreciation, who more than him, among the Italian journalists, knows the Royal Family?
