La domanda su cui si basa a parer mio l'intero libro è: Le donne che hanno abortito devono per forza provare rimorso? No, è la risposta. Alcune ce l'hanno. Altre, semplicemente, no. Perché hanno soppesato i pro e i contro e hanno preso una decisione razionale. Però di loro non si sa molto perchè dirlo sembra strano. Come se dovessero provare rimorso. Il tutto aggravato dal fatto che ancora adesso le percentuali di medici obiettori siano altissime, che trovare chi ti prescrive la pillola del giorno dopo è difficile, che la Chiesa sia così "gentile" da offrire il perdono a chi abortisce, ma solo se debitamente contrita, alla pari degli assassini.
Io sono per la libera scelta. Sono pro-choice. Sono per il rispetto verso chi prende una decisione per il proprio corpo. Sono per il lasciare in pace e offrire serenità a chi fa una scelta. Questo è un libro che consiglierei davvero a tutti di leggere. Apre gli occhi. Intelligente, pacato, scientifico. Un discorso sull'aborto a 360°. Vero.

I've lost the count of how much time this book spent in my wishing list.
The question on which the entire book is based is: Must the women who got abortion inevitably feel regret? No, they mustn't. Some feel it. Some, simply, don't. Because they thought about the pros and cons and then took a rational decision. But we don't know much about them because telling it still looks strange. As they must feel regret. And everything is exacerbated by the fact that the percentages of objector doctors are still very high, that the Church is so "kind" to offer absolution to women who got abortion, but only if they are duly penitent, the same as a murderer.
I'm pro-choice. I'm pro-respect for who decide by oneself about one's own body. I'm pro-leave in peace and serenity who takes this decision. I suggest this book to anyone. It opens your eyes. Intelligent, calm, scientific. A dissertation about abortion in every direction. True.
