Ed è quindi con quello spirito, con quel senso di attesa che presi questo libro dalla biblioteca. Innanzitutto, non è un romanzo ma una serie di racconti, di giovani uomini e donne alle prese con i problemi della vita quotidiana.
Forse proprio per questa loro brevità, per essere dei racconti e non un romanzo, mi è piaciuto meno dell'altro, mi ha dato meno, o forse erano solo le mie aspettative a essere troppo alte.
Con questo ovviamente non voglio sminuire l'autore né la sua scrittura, solo dire, come sempre in questo blog, qual è il mio personale punto di vista sul libro che sto recensendo. E questo, non merita cinque stelle, per quanto invece l'altro libro dello stesso autore lo merito appieno. Avanti con il prossimo!

The previous book by Peter Cameron I've read has been the super-famous "Someday this pain will be useful to you". I adore it, love it.
That was my spirit, that feeling of wait, when I took this book in my favourite library. First of all, this is not a novel but a collection of short stories, young men and women struggling with little daily problems.
Maybe because this shortness, being short stories and not a novel, I like this one less than the other one, gave me less emotions, or maybe my expectations were too high.
Of course I don't want diminish the writer or his writing, just say, as always in this blog, what's my personal opinion about the book I'm reviewing. This one doesn't deserve five stars, as far as the other one from the same writer completely deserves them. Next!
