Voglio partire dai lati positivi, che sono tanti. Il libro è molto scorrevole, lo si legge in poco tempo. La storia d'amore tra i due protagonisti è romantica e tragica, le lacrime scorrono soprattutto nell'ultima parte. In fin dei conti mi è piaciuto, l'ho trovato gradevole ma anche triste.
Purtroppo, difficilmente questo libro si merita da parte mia cinque stelle. Il lato negativo è principalmente uno: il fatto che sia un libro molto adolescenziale, al pari di Twilight o altri romanzi. Non solo perché i due sono comunque degli adolescenti, ma proprio per la narrazione, così semplice, troppo. La loro storia d'amore è farcita di frasi ad effetto, sin dall'inizio, risultando alla fine quasi stucchevole. Mi dicono essere il film molto commovente, e io non riesco a non pensare che, forse, è proprio quello l'intento con cui è stato scritto il libro... Vittoria facile considerato il tema.
Insomma, il libro è carino ma non certo degno di grandi votazioni. Una stellina in più se la merita perchè ci sono parti commoventi ma in un mondo di citazioni ad effetto e protagonisti che, in quanto a sfortuna, potrebbero battersi con Romeo e Giulietta, direi che mi ha un po' infastidito versarla quella lacrimuccia.

Two years ago, persuaded by my nephew, I started to read Harry Potter. It was love at first sight. This year, my niece, his big sister, persuaded me to read this book. It's difficult being more beautiful than Harry Potter... yes indeed.
I want to start by the positive notes, and they are a lot. The book is very flowing, I read it in two days. The lovestory is romantic and fatal, tears flow down especially in the last part. After all is said and done, I liked it, it's pleasant but sad too.
Unfortunately, this book, in my opinion, doesn't deserve 5 stars. There is just one, but important, negative note: the book is set for a public of teenagers, like Twilight and other novels. Not just because the two main characters are teenagers themselves, but truly because the narration, so easy, too much. Their lovestory is filled with striking quotes, from the beginning, being at the end almost mushy. People told me the movie is very touching, and I can't stop thinking that, maybe, this is the main purpose of this book too... runaway if you consider the subject.
So, the book is pleasant but it isn't worthy of high valutations. It deserves one more star because there are very touching parts but in a world of striking quotes and main characters who, in terms of misfortune, could stand a chance with Romeo and Juliet, my tiny tears bothered me a little bit.
