Non credo di aver mai fatto mistero in questo blog del mio interesse per la famiglia reale inglese, ma credo che sia la prima volta che dico apertamente quanto mi piaccia Kate Middleton. Sono assolutamente certa che è un membro perfetto della Royal Family e che un giorno sarà una perfetta Regina Consorte al fianco di William. Seguo tutti i canali social che parlano di lei, sia i profili ufficiali sia quelli non ufficiali ma più informali, con la richiesta che siano comunque rispettosi.
Considerato che già conosco abbastanza della sua vita attuale, ero interessata a conoscere maggiormente la storia della sua giovinezza e di come è cresciuta, dettagli su come è diventata la fidanzata del Principe e soprattutto la sua istruzione, tutto quello che ha dovuto imparare per essere perfetta nel ruolo... oltre a una certa predisposizione e eleganza naturale!
E' un libro sicuramente leggero, non è un trattato di filosofia, ma è pieno di dettagli sui primi anni di Kate e sul suo rapporto con William. Devo ammettere che dopo aver letto la parte del matrimonio sono andata a riguardarmi l'ingresso in chiesa della sposa e poi la famiglia al balcone dopo la cerimonia, ed entrambe le volte mi sono commmossa! E' che sono così belli e così bravi, che è impossibile per me rimanere impassibile!
Insomma, se come me siete interessati alla famiglia reale e volete approfondire la storia di una dei membri più giovani e soprattutto quella che più di tutte si è inserita perfettamente e naturalmente in un mondo così diverso dal normale, questa biografia è perfetta. Anzi, quasi perfetta, devo ammettere che ci fosse stata un'appendice fotografica, sarebbe stato ideale.

I don't think I've ever hidden the my interest in the British royal family in this blog, but I think it's the first time I've openly said how much I like Kate Middleton. I am absolutely certain that she is a perfect member of the Royal Family and that one day she will be a perfect Queen Consort alongside William. I follow all the social channels that talk about her, both official and unofficial but more informal profiles, with the request that they are still respectful.
Since I already know enough about her current life, I was interested in learning more about the story of her youth and how she grew up, details of how she became the Prince's fiancée and especially her royal education, everything she had to learn to be perfect in the role... in addition to a certain predisposition and natural elegance!
It is certainly a light book, it is not a treatise on philosophy, but it is full of details about Kate's early years and her relationship with William. I must admit that after reading the wedding part I went to look at the bride's entrance into the church and then the family on the balcony after the ceremony, and both times I was moved! It is that they are so beautiful and so good, that it is impossible for me to remain impassive!
In short, if like me you are interested in the royal family and want to deepen the story of one of the youngest members and above all the one who most of all fits perfectly and naturally in a world so different from normal, this biography is perfect. Indeed, almost perfect, I must admit that if there had been a photographic appendix, it would have been ideal.
