Mi parli di vendetta, di donne che decidono di non essere più cosine rose e delicate... e poi il finale un po' scontato è assicurato. Sì perchè, se le prime trenta pagine mi erano piaciute, poi alla trenta e uno ho capito subito dove sarebbe andato a parare. Ma per un'altra trentina di pagine ho continuato a sperare. No.
Insomma, il libro è anche grazioso, scritto bene, si legge piacevolmente, ma la verità è che è l'ennesima trama sempre uguale. Perfetto per l'estate, una lettura non impegnativa.
Ma di nuovo c'è pochissimo e niente. C'è un barlume iniziale di novità. Una fioca luce di speranza.
Non ho sprecato in pieno soldi, perchè comunque l'ho comprato con una promozione. Diciamo che l'ho pagato quello che vale.

I must say, I keep saying that I do not like chick lit, I do not care, they are all the same, all vapid and ridiculous and banal, bla bla bla... then there is one that seems different, new, less sugary and I dash on it. To go back to my old idea again.
You tell me about revenge, about women who decide not to be anymore roses and delicate things... and then the predictable final is assured. Yes because, if I liked the first thirty pages, then at the thirty and one I immediately knew where it's driving at. But for another thirty pages I continued to hope. No.
In short, the book is pretty, well written, reads nicely, but the truth is that it is always the same story. Perfect for summer, a non-binding reading.
But again there is very little and nothing. There is an initial glimmer of newness. A dim light of hope.
I have not wasted full money, because I bought it with a promotion anyway. Let's say I paid it what it's worth.
