Anche Lili é ricoverata e non si aspetterebbe mai che la lettera giunta da un estraneo le avrebbe cambiato la vita.
É una storia con uno sfondo tragico e un primo piano pieno di speranza. Nessuno dei due é ricco o importante, ma con la forza del loro amore e della voglia di vivere compiono un miracolo.
Non so se sarà una storia che resterà con me per il resto della vita, come promette la copertina, ma di sicuro é un bellissimo romanzo. É stato un piacere leggerlo, una lettura a volte più leggera a volte più dura e triste. Ma sempre bella.

Miklòs and Lili are two Jewish survivor at the Second World War. They are in two refugee camps in Sweden. He is sick of tubercolosis and in the doctor's opinion he'll live yet for just six months. Too little, for everyone. Enough to get married, for him.
Lili is in the hospital too, and she would never expect to receive a letter from a stranger that will change her life forever.
It's a story with a tragic background and a present full of hope. They are neither rich or important, but the strenght of their love and will of life will work a miracle.
I don't know if it's a story that will stay with me forever, as the cover tells, but it's for sure a beautiful novel. It's a pleasure to read it, sometimes lighter sometimes more sad. But beautiful.
