Benjamin Malaussene lavora in un centro commerciale con la mansione di capro espiatorio. E' talmente bravo a fingersi disgraziato per impietosire i clienti da far risparmiare un sacco di soldi ai suoi capi. Ma nel suo luogo di lavoro iniziano ad accadere strane cose, vabbè, più strane di quanto gli succedono di solito, una serie di bombe esplodono, e lui e la sua banda indagano sulle ragioni.
L'ho iniziato per curiosità e perchè mi avevano regalato l'intera serie che mi guardava dallo scaffale, e mi sono innamorata. La scrittura è piacevolissima, capitoli corti, nessuna digressione trascendentale o parti noiose. E tanta tenerezza per questi personaggi che sembrano usciti da una favola. Non vedo l'ora di continuare la lettura.

Who could have ever thought that a crime story could be so funny and magical? Looks like it came from the mind of Tim Burton, with this so visionary setting, these characters so poetic... Indeed, now that I think of it, it would come out a wonderful movie saga!
Benjamin Malaussene works in a shopping center with the job of a scapegoat. He is so good at pretending to be unfortunate to pity customers by saving a lot of money for his bosses. But in his workplace strange things start to happen, oh well, stranger than they usually do, a series of bombs explode, and he and his gang investigate on the reasons.
I started it out of curiosity and because they had given me as present the entire series that looked at me from the shelf, and I fell in love. The writing is very pleasant, short chapters, no transcendental digression or boring parts. And so much tenderness for these characters that seem to come from a fairy tale. I can't wait to keep going with the reading.
