La fantasia della Signora Rowling, la perfezione nei dettagli con cui ha costruito questo mondo è qualcosa di eccezionale. Si sente tutto il calore, l'amore che ha messo in questa saga.

L'alter ego di J.K. Rowling non delude neanche stavolta. Un'altra indagine per Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott, stavolta alle prese con un serial killer di donne, che si diverte pure a mandare alla Segretaria pezzi di corpi mutilati. Tra un vero psicopatico che vuole vendicarsi dell'investigatore, e piccoli psicopatici che avrebbero solo bisogno di un buon strizzacervelli, il rapporto tra i due si fa più stretto e molti segreti vengono a galla.
La scrittura è avvincente, uno di quei libri che ti tieni a letto fino a tardi, anche se per la mole difficile leggerlo in una notte sola (o meglio, fattibile se non si ha sonno... e io ormai a una certa non ce la faccio più). Inoltre, un finale super aperto che rende ancora più atteso il prossimo capitolo.
Difficile trovare difetti in un giallo così ben scritto e costruito. Volendo andare a cercare il pelo nell'uovo, ok, abbiamo capito, Robin ha dei bellissimi capelli ed è molto carina. Cara J.K., ma c'è proprio bisogno di ripeterlo in ogni pagina? Dopo un po' diventa inutile e ridicolo.
Un altro colpo a segno per la scrittrice brittanica.

The pen name of J.K. Rowling doesn't disappoint me. Another investigation for Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott, this time struggling with a women's serial killer, who enjoys sending pieces of wounded bodies to the Secretary. Among a real psychopath who wants to take revenge of Cormoran, and nonsense psychopaths who just need a good shrink, their relationship becomes tighter and a lot of secrets come to light.
The writing is engaging, one of those books you read in bed till it's very late, even if it's difficult to read it in one night because the number of pages (or better, doable if you aren't sleepy... and I can't anymore). More, a super open finale that makes the next chapter more expected.
It's difficult to find a flaw in a so well written and built crime novel. Looking for a needle in a haystack, ok, I gotta it, Robin has beautiful hair and it's very good looking. Dear J.K., do you really need to repeat it in every single page? After the 100th time, it is useless and ridicolous.
Another goal for the British writer.

Volevo aspettare che uscisse la versione in italiano, pensavo sarei riuscita a resistere. Ma per una come me, che ha letto i sette libri nel giro di un'estate, come sarebbe stato possibile? Alla fine ho ceduto, e mi sono presa l'ebook in lingua originale.
Allora... Probabilmente questo é il libro più difficile da recensire per chiunque sia affezionato alla saga. Cercherò di evitare spoiler per rispetto di chi deve aspettare la versione italiana.
Sono felicissima di avere tra le mani un altro pezzetto del magico mondo di Hogwarts. Ritrovare Harry, Ron ed Hermione, persino Draco, come vecchi amici é stato bellissimo. Conoscere i loro figli, vedere come se la cavano nel ruolo di genitori. La professoressa MacGranitt, che piacere.
Tanti colpi di scena,uno, davvero incredibile. Eh, gli scherzi che fa The Sorting Hat! E chi l'ha letto capirà subito a cosa mi riferisco.
Ma... Ci sono un po' di contro. Essendo una sceneggiatura di uno spettacolo teatrale, ovviamente, l'azione non può essere così serrata come nel libro e nel film. Quindi meno personaggi e più focus sui protagonisti. Albus e Scorpius, pretendenti entrambi a quanto pare al titolo "The Cursed Child". Insieme, anche la psicologia dei personaggi scade un po'. Ron visto come il solito stupido, l'unico che mentre gli altri fanno carriera sta a casa coi bambini e dirige il negozio dei fratelli... Con George presumo, anche se lui non viene mai menzionato. Rose Granger-Weasley é uguale alla madre. Intelligente ma una vera stronza.
Albus... Scusa tesoro, ma sei una lagna.
Altre piccole pecche sparse in giro per il libro, piccole cosine ma che per noi attenti al minimo dettaglio cambiano tutto. Incantesimi fatti fuori dalla scuola, magie che vent'anni prima duravano capitoli interi e ora solo cinque minuti, tra le altre cose.
Il libro é comunque un'altra storia di Harry Potter, e come tale l'ho apprezzato. Ma non é un ottavo romanzo. È qualcosa di staccato, un episodio.
Ma se non siete Babbani, dovete leggerlo.

I wanted to wait for the Italian version, I was sure I am able to resist. But how it was possible, for one like me, who had read the seven books in just one summer? At the end I gave up, and I've bought the ebook in the original version.
So... Probably this is the most difficult book to review for anyone who loves this saga. I'll to try to avoid spoilers in respect of who has to wait the translation.
I'm so happy I have in my hands another piece of the magical world of Hogwarts. Meeting again Harry, Ron, Hermione, even Draco, as old friends was beautiful. Getting to know their children, and reading about their struggles as parents. Professor MacGranitt, what a pleasure!
Many twists, especially one, so unbelievable. Eh, that Sorting Hat! And who has read it knows this reference.
But... there are few flaws. Being a script for a theatrical play, of course, the action is not so rapid as it is in books and movies. So less characters and more focus on the main characters. Albus and Scorpius, it seems they are both pretender to the title "The Cursed Child".
Together, even the psychology of the characters depreciates a little bit. Ron has pictured as an idiot, the only one who, while the other ones establish themselves, stays at home with their kids and runs the brother's store... with George I guess, but he's never mentioned. Rose Granger-Weasley is the same of her mother. Smart but snobbish.
Albus... Sorry honey, but you're a whiner.
Other little flaws are scattered around the book, little things but for us, alert to any detail, change everything. Spells made outside Hogwarts, magics that twenty years before last few chapters and now just five minutes, between the other ones.
The story is however another story of Harry Potter, and I appreciated it. But it's not an eight novel. It's something else, an episode.
But if you aren't Muggles, you must read it.
