Non me ne vogliano gli altri autori, ma questa é una delle più belle autobiografie che io abbia letto da molto tempo.
Simone de Beauvoir é, nel mondo della cultura, una delle donne più interessanti e di ispirazione mai vissute.
Nasce all'inizio del Novecento a Parigi, nella classica famiglia dell'alta borghesia francese, presto però colpita da problemi finanziari che portarono la famiglia a dover cambiare casa e alcune abitudini. All'inizio della sua vita prova attrazione verso la religione e verso Dio, con una intensa vita spirituale. Ben presto però, questo sentimento si scontra con il razionalismo di Simone, che compirà il passaggio all'ateismo.
In questa prima parte del racconto della sua vita, seguiamo i suoi studi, culminati alla Sorbona, il difficile rapporto con i suoi genitori e soprattutto con sua madre, la sua amicizia con Zazà, l'incontro con colui che sarà il suo compagno per tutta la vita, Jean Paul Sartre.
Seguiamo la sua vita esteriore ma maggiormente seguiamo la sua vita interiore, il fervore della sua mente, i suoi pensieri, la formazione del suo pensiero maturo. È affascinante poter quasi leggere nella sua mente e assistere alla creazione di un pensiero così illuminante. Ed é bello scoprire che da ragazza anche lei andava a ballare nei locali di Parigi, andava nei caffé a parlare e discutere con gli amici, andava dal parrucchiere e comprava trucchi.
Ne esce un ritratto completo della sua vita, un racconto affascinante e prezioso per conoscere la vita di una donna affascinante.
Non vedo l'ora di continuare la lettura con i prossimi volumi, lo consiglio assolutamente a chiunque.

Don't hold it against me the other writers, but this is one of the most beautiful autobiographies of all times. Simone de Beauvoir, in the world of culture, is one of the most inspiring and interesting woman ever.
She was born at the beginning of the 1900s in Paris, in a traditional family of upper middle class, but soon the family is hard-hit by financial troubles and has to change house and habits. In her first years, she feels attraction for religion and God and a deep spirituality. But soon, this feeling collides with her rationalism and she becomes atheist.
In this first part of her autobiography, she tells about her studies, culminated at the Sorbone, the difficul relationship with her parents, her friendship with Zazà, her meeting with the man who'll be her life partner, Jean Paul Sartre.
She tells about the life but more she tells about her inner life, the fervour of her mind, her thoughts, the developing of her mature thinking. It's fascinating read in her mind and attend the birth of a so illuminating mind. It's nice to discover that, when she was a girl, she went dancing in Parisian clubs, she went in the cafès to talk and discuss with her friends, she went to the hairdresser and bought makeup.
This a complete story of her life, a fascinating and precious story to know the life of a fascinating woman. I am looking forward to reading the next chapters!
