You are not to be able even to imagine how much time, in about 205 pages of this book, I've thought "How much I miss Umberto Eco". More or less, about 250.
Every single page of this book has to be read and re-read. Every single one. And not just Eco's. Jean-Philippe de Tonnac, writer, journalist, publisher, and also one of the best Twitter profile. He is the one who asks the questions about the world of books to Umberto Eco and Jean-Claude Carriere, brilliant and original screenwriter and novelist.
Two bibliophiles with an immense knowledge about it. And you read the book and stay there in religious silence, as you are afraid to interrupt the dialogue, and absorb every reference, every anedocte, every detail.
Two brilliant minds, sharp and ironic about the subject book. Its history, their personal connection to it, the book they would love to have and the ones got after a long time, their personal libraries.
For me, it has been a journey in beauty and in pure intelligence.
