Quello che colpisce, per me che mi avvicino per la prima volta a un libro di Marias, é la prosa. Un flusso di riflessioni e di pensieri, inarrestabili, sulla vita, i segreti, l'amore, la morte. La storia della famiglia di Juan, di Ranz, di Luisa, si dipana lungo tutto il romanzo, segreti svelati piano piano.
Un bel romanzo, una lettura che necessita di attenzione.

A beautiful novel, a reading that requires attention.
