In questo caso, secondo me, la protagonista del titolo, Dorilys, non risulta sicuramente la scelta migliore, dove sono presenti figure come Renata e Cassandra che la superano in importanza e bellezza. Renata poi, intelligente, indipendente, forte, la mia preferita in assoluto.
Dall'altra parte Allart, il mio personaggio maschile preferito, che possiede un Potere che molto spesso ho ritrovato in me stessa, l'immaginarsi tutti i possibili scenari di un'azione, rimanendo inizialmente sopraffatto dalla paura e incapace di agire, dove invece è proprio l'agire e il decidere che ci portano a quello che vogliamo.
Al solito, i romanzi di Marion Zimmer Bradley offrono vasti spunti di riflessione sulla nostra morale. Non amerò il fantasy, ma amo la letteratura fantastica. E' questa lo è.

I'm not at all a fantasy's fan, actually. But, I love Mrs Bradley's writing since the first time I've read one book by her. Her stories are engaging, her characters are gorgeous, admirable the ruling moral. But most of all, the wonderful female characters.
But in here, in my opinion, the main character of the title, Dorilys, isn't the best option, where there are characters as Renata and Cassandra who are better for importance and beauty. Renata, smart, independent, strong, is my favourite one.
At the other side Allart, my favourite male character, who own a Power that I've found in myself, visualize every possible scenario from an action, staying at the first moment overpowered by fear and unable to act, when instead it's acting and deciding that lead us to what we want.
As usual, the novels by Marion Zimmer Bradley offer food for thoughts about our own moral. I won't love fantasy, but I love fantastic literature. And this one, it is.
