Se vi aspettate una femminista arrabbiata, non leggetelo. Dalle sue parole, ci arriva la consapevolezza di sapere di cosa si sta parlando, la passione nel tema. Il tutto, con una serenità e calore che rende la lettura di questo saggio un vero piacere.
Mi piacerebbe sapere se qualche uomo l'ha letto e qual è il loro punto di vista. Perchè sono sempre più convinta che un sano maschilismo (inteso come un femminismo al maschile, una riflessione su se stessi, cosa si è, cosa si può fare per cambiare) aiuterebbe moltissimo. Le donne, da parte loro, hanno già l'indicibile fortuna di avere libri come questo.

The inexpressible luck of being women is a condition and a feeling I strongly share with the author. As told by her: "The privilege of being woman gives a greatness of other kind, that comes towards the ordinary things in life and arrives to the most extraordinary". We are special, we have a special vision of the world. Being woman is hard, too. But, as Luisa Muraro, I wouldn't change my sex at any cost.
If you're thinking about an angry feminist, don't read it. From her words, it arrives the awareness of knowing of what she's talking about, the passion in the subject. Everything made with such serenity and warmth that this essay is a very pleasant reading.
I would like to know if any man has read it and his point of view. Because I'm persuaded that an healthy masculinism (a feminism on the contrary, a deep reflection about themselves, what they are, what they can do to change) would help a lot. Women, on their side, has already the inexpressible luck of reading books like this one.
