Ma è normale il protagonista? Ma una donna che non sia una prostituta o un'accaparratrice di polli da spennare non la trova? Ma soprattutto, ma che è questo continuo parlare di sesso in tutte le salse?
In copertina si legge: "Un libro meraviglioso sulla ricerca dell'amore ideale". Io questa ricerca spasmodica dell'amore ideale non l'ho trovata, c'è la crescita sentimentale di un ragazzino che si prende tutto quello che trova basta che ci sia sesso. Non c'è nessun interesse a una affinità elettiva, considerato anche che il protagonista non vuole vedere oltre il suo naso. Molto più azzeccato il titolo, perchè qui di trascendentale c'è veramente poco.
Molta arte e moltissimo Caravaggio, forse uno dei due elementi che mi hanno spinto a continuare la lettura. L'altro è il riferimento alla mia Sardegna, ma anche lì poche cose e molti stereotipi.
Bocciato, ma almeno non mi ha fatto sprecare troppo tempo.

I think I didn't understand this book entirely, because in my head there is just a giant question mark.
Is the main character normal? Is he able to meet a woman who is not a prostitute or a graber of easy targets? But most of all, what the hell is this incessant talking about sex in every possible way?
In the cover you can read: "A marvellous book about the research of true love". I didn't find this spasmodic research, there is the sentimental education of a little boy who f**ks everyone as long as there is sex. There is no interest in a compatibility, considering that the main character doesn't want to see over his nose. The title is exactly right, because in here there is nothing of transcendent.
There is a lot of art, especially Caravaggio, maybe one of the two reasons why I went on with the readings. The other one is the reference to my Sardinia, but not very interesting and with a lot of stereotypes.
Rejected, but at least I didn't waste too much time.
