Tre personaggi in scena, un professore universitario, il suo assistente e una studentessa, al centro dei quali una stufa a cui è rimasto solo un combustibile, i libri che riempiono la stanza dove vive il professore.
Bruciarli o salvarli? E quale lasciare al sicuro dalla fame del fuoco?
Il primo che brucerà sarà il segnale per una discesa nell'amoralità, in un mondo in cui i valori verranno messi in discussione.
Non ricordo per quale motivo ho cercato questo testo in biblioteca, ma ringrazio di averlo fatto.
Lettura intensa, temi impegnativi affrontati con decisione.
Devo ammettere, ho colto con un sospiro di sollievo il fatto che i titoli bruciati fossero invenzioni di sana pianta dell'autrice. Credo che mi avrebbe toccato maggiormente nel profondo.
Non conoscevo la scrittrice, ma mi interessa adesso approfondire il suo lavoro.
