Camilla Casteldiani è alle prese con entrambe. Sta scrivendo una biografia della Hepburn, si è fatta i capelli come lei, si veste come lei. Salvo poi, per uno scambio di quadri, ritrovarsi con Marylin Monroe. Proprio con il fantasma della diva, che irrompe nella sua vita e la scompiglia. Camilla ha bisogno di un po' di bollicine per dare leggerezza e brio alla sua vita, e la Monroe ne offre in abbondanza. Un po' amica, un po' maestra, un po' saggia sorella maggiore, la vita con una bionda così esplosiva è completamente diversa.
Avevo bisogno di qualcosa di leggero e poco pretenzioso, e ho fatto la scelta giusta. Il romanzo è divertente, l'idea è spiritosa. Un po' di novità, di leggerezza, ma anche sano buon senso e un po' di occhio pratico, soprattutto sui maschi. Certo, è un po' troppo romanzetto rosa, con il principe azzurro aitante e ricco, il mondo finto-glamour del gossip. Come se bastasse un rossetto rosso a cambiare la vita. Ma volevo solo un po' di leggerezza e di sicuro il suo compito lo assolve.

Just the ghost of the diva, who bursts into her life and messes it all. Camilla needs a bit of bubbles to give light and sparkle to her life, and Monroe offers them in abundance. A little friend, a little teacher, a little wise older sister, life with a so explosive blonde is completely different.
I needed something light and crispy, and I made the right choice. The novel is funny, the idea is funny. A bit of novelty, lightness, but also common sense and a bit of practical eye, especially on males. Sure, it's a bit too pink romance with an handsome and rich Prince Charming, the world of faux-glamor gossip. As if it were enough a red lipstick to change lives. But I just wanted a little lightness and certainly I found it in here.
