Una volta che però vai a fondo, approfondisci quello che questa donna rappresenta, leggi la sua autobiografia, il quadro si fa completo.
E io, che prima di questo libro la conoscevo molto superficialmente, ora, invece di solo apprezzarla istintivamente, la sento più vicina, più umana e la amo ancora di più.
Ne esce un ritratto di una donna intelligentissima, istintiva, capace di creare performance sempre originali e forti. Una donna in sintonia profonda con il mondo e l'arte, con un istinto naturale per quello che la circonda. Una donna bellissima, dentro e fuori. Una grande artista. Una che per la sua arte non si è mai risparmiata.
All'inizio della sua carriera, le sue prime performance erano molto forti, molto dure. Di getto uno dice "Questa è matta!" ma poi si va avanti, la sua arte si fa sempre più matura e strutturata e profonda, e si capisce che tutto aveva un senso.
