Però Albert Einstein é uno di quei personaggi di cui, non andrò a studiare i libri, ma mi interessa sapere quale sia la sua visione del mondo. Un cervello così importante, non può non essere di qualche ispirazione. E infatti. (E infatti, ho saltato Il significato della relatività per andare dritta a Il mondo come lo vedo io.)
Non fu solo un grande scienziato, ma anche un uomo che si occupava del mondo intorno a sé, soprattutto di quello che riguardava il momento storico in Europa, la preoccupazione per l'avvento del nazismo, la situazione degli ebrei, essendo lui stesso ebreo.
Einstein è un pacifista. Aborre la guerra, non vuole il servizio militare. Il mondo dovrebbe collaborare per creare un mondo più unito, le anime sagge devono lavorare e agire per il bene comune. E la cultura, questa forse è la frase che più mi è piaciuta, è fondamentale per un mondo giusto e degno. L'unica pecca, ho notato una sorta di... Come dire, sottile sottovalutazione delle donne, come se fossero delle graziose stupidelle poco importanti. Ma se non sbaglio, non era lui che non era molto carino, per usare un eufemismo, con la moglie?
Diciamo che, a parte questo, le sue idee sono le più giuste e ho riscontrato quello che pensavo, che era un uomo intelligente, non solo nel suo campo.

I admit it right now: I don't understand a thing about physics. Inter alia, it was my second subject at my classical A levels! Of course, I don't remember anything and I wouldn't able to resolve an integral not even under torture.
But Albert Einstein is one of those people I am interested about their brain and their ideas about the world, without any will to study their books. A so important brain, it has to be inspirational. Indeed! (And sure enough, I skipped "The meaning of relativity" to go straight at "The World as I see it").
He wasn't just a great scientist, but a man too who was interested in the world around him, especially what was about the situation in Europe, the concern about Nazism, the Jewish situation, being Einstein a Jew. Einstein is a pacifist. He hates war, he is against the military service. World must collaborate more to create a more united world, wise minds have to work and act for the common good. And culture, this is maybe the sentence I appreciated the most, is fundamental for a fair and upright world. Just one flaw, I noticed a sort of... how can I say, a little underestimation of women, as they are little cute stupid things, not so important. But, correct me if I'm wrong, wasn't he the one not so very gentle, to use an euphemism, with his wife?
Except for this, his ideas were so right and I've met with success what I already thought, he was an intelligent man, not just in his field of study.
