Questo ultimo letto non sfugge a nessuna di queste caratteristiche. In una grande casa di campagna inglese, durante una riunione di aristocratici, un giovane ospite viene ritrovato morto. Passa qualche giorno e un secondo amico del gruppo, muore a causa di una fucilata. Le due morti sono sicuramente collegate, ma per colpa di chi? Qui mi fermo, per evitare di rivelare qualcosa nella trama che per un romanzo giallo è essenziale.
E' una lettura adatta al periodo di isolamento, perché è appassionante, si legge in fretta, e in caso non abbiate voglia di scervellarvi per capire chi è l'assassino, basta aspettare alla fine del libro e vi verrà spiegato tutto. Formula semplice e vincente. La Regina del Giallo è una garanzia!

Agatha Christie's novels are a great certainty: aristocratic english settings, snobbish protagonists, twists, excellent narrative style.
This last one doesn't miss any of these characteristics. In a large English country house, during a meeting of aristocrats, a young guest is found dead. A few days pass and a second friend of the group dies from a shooting. The two deaths are certainly connected, but who is the murderer? I stop here, to avoid revealing something in the plot that is essential for a detective story.
It is a suitable reading for the period of isolation, because it is exciting, you read quickly, and in case you don't want to rack your brains to understand who the killer is, just wait at the end of the book and everything will be explained to you. Simple and winning formula. Mrs Christie is a guarantee!
