Forse meno interessante, strutturato e avvincente come gli altri, ma è un po' come una pausa rilassata dopo ben quattro casi di romanzo giallo. E ogni tanto, ci vogliono anche questi attimi in cui si tira il fiato e ci si rilassa. Ma di certo, la qualità della penna dell'autore, la sua fantasia nel creare personaggi, quella è inesauribile.
E adesso, via con il prossimo capitolo della storia.

Compared to the others, this little book is a little different from the others. Divided into two parts, the first part is a bit like a summary of the last book, Mr. Malaussène, retracing the birth of Mr. Malaussène. The second part, instead, tells a completely new story concerning the identity of The Little One's father. Let's go a little back in time, before the first book, and we know the family back then, when they welcomed a mysterious American Jew, in a coma, took care of it and how he gave them another member to the family as a gift.
Perhaps less interesting, structured and compelling than the others, but it's a bit like a relaxed break after four cases of detective stories. And every once in a while, you also need these moments in which you take a breath and relax. But certainly, the quality of the author's pen, his imagination in creating characters, that is inexhaustible.
And now, off with the next chapter in the story.
